Thick toasted bread with cherry tomatoes, anchovies, capers, tuna and oregano
Ingredients
- 4 bread biscuits or thick Danish toasts
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- 30 g capers in vinegar
- 20 Taggiasca olives, oregano to taste
- 2 160 g cans tuna in olive oil
- 30 g olive oil, 8 anchovy fillets in salt
Procedure
Quarter the tomatoes, add the capers, olives, oregano, extra virgin olive oil, and salt. Mix and spread over the bread. Decorate with the drained tuna and anchovy fillets, plus some olive oil. Leave to stand for 5 minutes (so that the tomato juices soften the bread).
